Sellick partnership are delighted to be recruiting for a childcare lawyer to join a local authority in Yorkshire on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fantastic team with a wealth of experience. The successful candidate will be picking up a range of duties, such as:
- Holding a caseload of care cases and pre proceedings
- Advising clients on child protection, care proceedings, special guardianship, private law proceedings, fostering legislation and adoption law
- Attending legal planning, PLO and Gateway meetings
- Preparing for hearings and conducting advocacy in the Family Court
- Drafting threshold documents

Prospective candidates need to be a qualified solicitor, legal executive or barrister and to have some exposure of care proceedings.
